Welcome to my Blog... and my studio.

Welcome Crafty Friends to my new blog! It's been a while in the making but I'm finally up and running. While I have been posting video's to YouTube for a number of years (4 I think) I really wanted a space to post still shots of projects, type up lists or instructions and have things all in one spot. Not having this space has really for some reason put me off doing anything more than videos of my hauls of new crafty goodies but now I have no excuse.

As far as content and what my future plans are for this blog are I'm going to be honest and say that at this stage posts won't be a regular schedule it will depend on when I get a chance to work on a project. And if I'm doing something cool or interesting I'll film it and post it to share with you. So if you subscribe or have already subscribed to my YouTube you should stay up to date.

Now for my first post I wanted to give you an up to date look at my craft room... although I think I might start calling it my studio... sounds so much better doesn't it. It's a muti-purpose room that doubles as the guest bedroom, 2nd living room/kids room but I make it work. Ikea is definitely visible in here and you may also notice I'm not a fan of plastic.   I've got very little plastic storage only my sequins and embossing powders are stored in plastic containers, this is more from an aesthetic point of view but does have the added bonus environmentally speaking .  I much prefer glass jars, wood and cardboard cd/dvd boxes for my stamps.  Both desks are from Ikea along with the grey shelves (these are from there pantry shelving that I stained grey) along with the picture rail wall shelves.  The cube divided wall shelves are from Kmart (Australia) and glass jars are just washed and cleaned food containers from the grocery store.  Eucalyptus Oil is amazing at removing labels.  Well hope you enjoy.
